PLASMA FIBROBLAST
FAQ’s
How Long Does It Last?
Plasma Fibroblast isn’t like putting on some gimmicky tightening cream. This is a cosmetic treatment and technique. When done right you can anticipate results to last as long as they would by having an invasive surgical procedure. Like any surgical treatments the effects aren’t entirely permanent and can’t stop the aging process.
Nonetheless, the results you get should last you for years. The impressive effect of a Plasma Fibroblast treatment should be observable almost immediately after the first treatment session and continuing over the next 3-4 weeks. Depending on the part of the body treated and expected results, an additional treatment may be required after 6 to 8 weeks. Detrimental lifestyle choices such as excessive sun, smoking, and excess alcohol consumption are discouraged to help you maintain long-term results. Individuals who want a treatment must also be mindful that individual genetics could have an effect on the length of treatment benefits.
What Can I Expect During The Day of Treatment?
You don’t want to put on makeup or use any moisturizers, lotions or creams on the day of treatment. Please come in with clean skin.
A topical numbing agent is applied to the procedure area and left on to take effect within 20 to 30 minutes. When the area becomes properly numb the procedure begins. During the treatment you might feel a small amount of heat and minor irritation. Your treatment time will last from 45 minutes and up to several hours depending on the size of the procedure area.
During the first appointment you will be provided aftercare instructions. Following these instructions is critical for achieving the best results. No exfoliating or harsh skin cleansers may be used during the week after treatment. We would suggest a pH balanced soap like Dove. You also need to avoid rubbing or scratching the treated area.
Is the treatment painful?
None of our clients have found the treatment to be intolerable. A numbing cream is used prior to the treatment to alleviate any discomfort felt.
Are there any side effects?
Immediately after the treatment the area may be red. Swelling may occur 1-2 days after the treatment. After 5 to 7 days the crusting from the healing process will have disappeared. Any redness should have reduced after 3 weeks post treatment.
How long does each treatment session take?
A consultation takes around 20 minutes. A treatment session can be 45 minutes to an hour (depending on the size of areas treated).
